Rebelling and Vexing the RUACH HaKODESH
MANKIND’S REBELLION AND VEXATION OF YAH’S SPIRIT
63:10
וְהֵ֛מָּה מָר֥וּ וְעִצְּב֖וּ אֶת־ר֣וּחַ קָדְשֹׁ֑ו וַיֵּהָפֵ֥ךְ לָהֶ֛ם לְאֹויֵ֖ב ה֥וּא נִלְחַם־בָּֽם׃
Isaiah 63.10 But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
WAIT!!!! I was thought and still hear, ” The New Testament ( Second Covenant ) is Spirit dispensation.”
If this so, how could The ” Whole house of Israel ” rebel and vex YHWH’s Holy Spirit? This period wasn’t suppose to be the dispensation of the Spirit! I suppose maybe there need to be some clarification to this so called ” Spirit Dispensation.”
First I would like to clarify some definitions, from the root meaning.
Root meanings
Rebelled מָרָה means ” Oppose ” It is countering against; Disobeying
Vex עָצַב means ” Hold back; Renounce ” It is actually Rejecting YHWH
Holy קֹדֶשׁ means ” Prepared for task; Dedicate all resources ” The purpose of being ” set apart” Is so that you can be prepared for the task of YHWH.
So if I was to retranslate this verse correctly Hebraically it should read as,
Isaiah 63.10 And they DISOBEYED and REJECTED YHWH and ALL THAT IS IN RELATIONS TOO YHWH’s Spirit for PREPARING FOR THE TASK.
Let me explain what has happened. Israel was chosen to be YHWH’s people for the task of showing the power of YHWH. Many times in scripture you will read how the power of YHWH was amongst Israel. The world needs to know that YHWH is alive and well. All the time Israel was in the Desert and the Wilderness, it was for the reason of preparation for a task. And that task is to draw EVERY Nation back to YHWH.
Deuteronomy 8.1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.
2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
4 Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.
5 Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.
6 Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
Let’s dig a little deeper into verse 2 and let us see how YHWH is leading Israel.
Dt 8.2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
Israel is being led by YHWH for 40 years in the Wilderness.
This number 40 mean, “chastisement, probation or punishment”. The purpose of the 40 years was for a probationary time. This 40 years in the Wilderness was fulfilled by the Messiah’s 40 days in the Wilderness. Before the Messiah could start His ministry, He himself went through a period of probation. This probation is a time of preparation for a purpose.
The word “Wilderness” is a combination of two words in, “Midbar מִדְבָּר “. But the root word for for “Wilderness מִדְבָּר” is what is the key of verse 2.
The root word for Wilderness (Midbar מִדְבָּר) is Dabar דְבָּר, which means words! Scripture uses words such as, to speak, declare, converse, command, promise, just to name a few.
The meaning of “word דְבָּר” means “Combine separate items into one”. (Are you beginning to see the picture?)
But Midbar מִדְבָּר is a combination of two words remember. The “Mem מִ” in the beginning of Dabar דְבָּר means, “From, Out Of or Out From”.
The Wilderness is a place where mankind is being prepared for a task. We are prepared (sanctified) though the Word of YHWH?
John 17.17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Now we have something really standing out that YHWH wants us to see in scripture.
YHWH led Israel into a probationary period through bringing Israel into one with Himself through His word.
VEX עָצַב
The meaning of the root word for Vex is “Hold Back;Renounce”
Israel rejected YHWH!
Psalms 78.40 How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!
78:40
כַּ֭מָּה יַמְר֣וּהוּ בַמִּדְבָּ֑ר יַ֝עֲצִיב֗וּהוּ בִּֽישִׁימֹֽון׃
The word “provoke מָרָה” is the same word “rebelled מָרָה”.
The word “grieve עָצַב” is the same word “vex עָצַב”.
Again in Psalms 78.40 it tells us that, ” Israel DISOBEYED YHWH and RENOUNCED YHWH’s Spirit. ”
The “Desert יָשַׁם” is the place of desolation and ruin. In this area Israel needed guidance. When the Spirit was to guide Israel did not want it so they turned to other Deities. This what happened with golden cafe. Israel vex (grieved) the Spirit.
So now this brings us back to our original text.
Isaiah 63.10 But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
Israel did not Keep the Words of YHWH, this is Israel’s opposing YHWH’s Spirit.
So when we come into the 2nd writings ( next Testament/ Covenant ) YHWH sent His Spirit back again in the book of Acts. The Messiah taught the disciples YHWH’s purpose and prepared Israel for the task ( Holy ). The Spirit empowered the disciple into all resources of YHWH’s ” Image and Likeness. ”
As we conclude, we will see that mankind is actually the Spirit Dispensation when YHWH blew His Spirit into man. The “rebelling and vexing” of Israel against YHWH was an First Covenant ( Testament ) situation. The Messiah came to educate Israel for the purpose of the Spirit and died so that once again ( as with Adam and Chavah – Eve ) the Spirit will dwell within you!
The Covenants are the same. Difference between the two is in the First, The Spirit rested upon a person. The Second The Spirit dwells inside of a person.

Are WE STILL under the LAW???
…well, it depends upon to whom WE is referring…and this is the mysterious question that must be answered!!!
…firstly, yes WE are STILL under the LAW…secondly, WE do not mean everyone…thirdly, ALL of us need to understand who WE are!!!
Deuteronomy 28:15…But it shall come to pass, if THOU (Israel) wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do ALL his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that ALL THESE CURSES shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
…if anyone honestly examine the CURSES of Deuteronomy 28:15-68…there is overwhelming evidence to prove without any shadow of doubt who the Chosen People Israel are…take the truth test by reading EVERY verse to see what nation of people are the LAST ones standing…and even today, they have the highest statistics of all the diseases listed!!! (Deuteronomy 28:45-46)
FYI…I have discovered the fountain of youth!!! (Leviticus 11:1-47)
…truthfully speaking, my people…your color are NOT A CURSE…instead your color is as the results of a high concentration of melanin…therefore, it is your blessing that stems from the ORIGINAL MAN!!! (Genesis 1:26-27)
…why do you think that the dumb down Evolution of Man reveal that mankind came from the monkey???…huh, who have they nicknamed monkey???…yep scientists know where they come from…even Hollywood knows that eventually the Planet of the Apes gone rule!!! (Isaiah 14:1-2)
…I have many friends who say…it doesn’t matter what color is JESUS…and I always reply…yes it does matter because if we don’t know what color is JESUS then it is IMPOSSIBLE to know who are THE CHOSEN PEOPLE OF ISRAEL!!!
…my people, WE are the NATION OF ISRAEL…and everyone MUST accept that fact!!!
…ESPECIALLY YOU…have you ever wondered why WE love to sing and dance tribe of Judah??? (Jeremiah 17:1-4)…even in our disobedience, PRAISE is written in our DNA (Genesis 49:8-10) and no one does it better…church!!!
Acts 15:5-8…But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise THEM (Gentiles), AND TO COMMAND THEM TO KEEP THE LAW OF MOSES. And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. And when there had been MUCH DISPUTING, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the GENTILES BY MY MOUTH (Acts 10:1-48) should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving THEM (Gentiles) THE HOLY GHOST, EVEN AS HE DID UNTO US (Acts 10:46).
…truthfully speaking, YAH (God) has made salvation available to the Gentiles who hear and believe!!! (Isaiah 11:10; Isaiah 42:6; Isaiah 49:6; Isaiah 49:22; Acts 15:7; Acts 15:14-17)
Acts 15:19-20…Wherefore my sentence is, that we TROUBLE NOT THEM, WHICH FROM AMONG THE GENTILES are turned to God: BUT that we write unto them, THAT THEY ABSTAIN (to refrain; keep away from) FROM POLLUTIONS OF IDOLS, AND FROM FORINCATION AND FROM THINGS STRANGLED, AND FROM BLOOD.
…in other words, CURRENTLY…the Gentiles are REQUIRED to obey ONLY four LAWS that the nation of Israel observed in the verses above…this is why Paul wrote about days and eating!!! Romans 14:6)
…simply speaking, Gentiles…you can eat whatever you want…and you can worship YAH (God) on any day that you choose!!!
…this is why it is VITALLY IMPORTANT to know the truth about the nation of Israel…the CURSES ARE UPON US, the cause of our sickness until death because WE refuse to follow the REQUIREMENT of the LAW OF MOSES given to our nation…so yes, WE are STILL under the LAW…why do you think that the pretenders (Revelation 2:9; Revelation 3:9) obey our LAW???…and they are benefitting from their obedience too!!!
…even in the future when our SAVIOR returns to gather us (Isaiah 11:11-12)…ALL mankind will be REQUIRED to observe the LAW OF MOSES!!! (Isaiah 56:6-7)
יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל ISRAEL’S PURPOSE
The Awaking Of Israel is a deep rooted passion of mines. I know it has to do with part of my gifting. I am called to be part of the Awakening Of Israel. Israel was chosen (for a reason) and called to lead the world back to it’s Creator.
The parent root for the name Israel is יִשְׂ. Ish To explain “parent root.”
In Hebrew the root words are three letter words, then other letters are connected to the root in order to give the direction of the root letters.
The parent root is the first to letters of the root letters.
Example: יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Israel
Root word יִשְׂרָ Ishrah means “Straighten”. Characteristics are: 1. Being right 2. Being straight 3. Declaring straight 4. Equity 5. Faithful to duty 6. Plain
Doesnt the root word fit Israel’s calling? The characteristics are the functions of Israel.
Look at the “Parent root” meaing: יִשְָׂ means ” To exist “. In order to be “Straight,” Israel has to “Exist”. What is considered as “Existing”? One that is connect in the intimacy of YHWH!
Now the one connected through intimacy with YHWH is יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Israel, meaning “To Exist in Power”. אֵ֖ל El is often used as a Deity such as GOD. But EL means Power. Israel is to function in Power.
Now יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל is set to be the example to the world, or what is called העַמִּ֑ים ” The Nations”.
Deuteronomy 4.5-8
5 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.
6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?
8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? (Deu 4:5-8 KJV)
יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל is the חָכְמַתְ Chokmah “Wisdom” and בִּינָה Binah “Understanding” for ALL העַמִּ֑ים Am “The Nations.”
The purpose of the חֹק Choq “Statutes” which means “Limits”, YHWH set a decree and this was the “Limit”. Do not go beyond what is set in place.
The purpose of the מִשְׁפָּטִ֔ Mishpat “Judgment” which means to “Harmony”. When Judgment is cast, the end result is “Harmony”. This word מִשְׁפָּטִ֔ has a double meaning.
שְׁפָּטִ֔ means Shapat “Judge; create order and harmony”
מִשְׁפָּטִ֔ Mishpat means “Whats comes from Judgment”, …Harmony!
Now this is a very important area for יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל because remember יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל is set to be the example to the world, or what is called העַמִּ֑ים ” The Nations”.
Dt 4.5-6

Question to think about is, What happens if יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל doesnt KEEP YHWH’s חֹק Choq “Statutes” and מִשְׁפָּטִ֔ Mishpat “Judgment”?
Remember what the purpose of YAH’s Statutes and Judgments were for?
Dt 4.7-8
7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?
8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?
Only one Nation had YHWH’s חֹק Choq “Statutes” and מִשְׁפָּטִ֔ Mishpat “Judgment” and that was and IS יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל! The name (Character) of יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל is to Establish YHWH’s Kingdom on Earth. Hence, The Disciples (Lord’s) prayer. …To “Establish YOUR Kingdom” on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN. YHWH choose ONE Nation to “Establish” all Nations.
This is the purpose of the Stautes and Judgments of YHWH. So that One Nation will Establish the Earth as was and is the plan from the Foundation of the Earth!
In the 10 Commandments are Statutes and Judgments. יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל is to become One with YHWH, by living according to ALL THINGS BROUGHT FORTH FROM YHWH.
Through יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל is how the other Nations will know whom YHWH is. Physical יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל is the root to Spiritual יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל. It all started by YAH calling Physical יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל to be HIS people and יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל accepted.
Remember we are Israel! The one’s that has travelled by ship into Egypt again!
Dt 28.68
68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, (Deu 28:68 KJV)
YAHWEH CONTINUE TO BLESS AND KEEP ISRAEL!
YAHWEH IS ISRAEL’S WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING
YAHWEH IS WISDOM
KJV Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
WTT Job 28:28 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר׀ לָֽאָדָ֗ם הֵ֤ן יִרְאַ֣ת אֲ֭דֹנָי הִ֣יא חָכְמָ֑ה וְס֖וּר מֵרָ֣ע בִּינָֽה׃
Hebrew Translation
And HE (YAH) said to man (Adam= mankind), Behold your fear (pay constant attention) of the Master is wisdom (aquire absorbing knowledge), depart (separating from out of brokenness) is understanding.
KJV Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
KJV Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
KJV Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
KJV Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
KJV Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
In all the above verses we will see that this word יִרְאַ֣ “Fear” is vital for wisdom. Yira (fear) means to “pay constant attention” to אֲ֭דֹנָי (Master) YAHWEH. It works like this… If you love something, you will give this object much attention. Here it is, we say we love YAH! Are we paying constant attention to YAH? If not, how can we say we love HIM?
To pay constant attention to YAH is “Wisdom”. YAHWEH is wisdom.
KJV John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
חָכְמָ֑ה Wisdom is the beginning of ALL things. From the fallen state of mankind, we need wisdom. From the placement of mankind wisdom is aquiring to absorb knowledge of the Creator. This knowledge is to penetrate to the core!
Anything other then this type of penetration is foolishness.
Hence Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
A wiseman חָכְמָ֑ה will see things from the aquiring absorbing knowledge the Creator. A foolish man is one that will see things in his fallen state.
Go back, the word “Fear”. If someone asked what does fear means, many will use some difinition of afraid. Using fear as afraid is understanding from the fallen state. This is the state of a foolish man.
ס֖וּר Depart (separate/distancing) is automatic when “constant attention” is being given to the YAHWEH.
Matthew 6.24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Many take the word “mammon” as money or riches but actually is referring to a “confidence” in YAH or the Fallen state of man.
As we use our time in constant attention to the FATHER, we will cease from processing from the degenerate state of mankind. This is the separation or distancing ourselves from what is “broken”.
רָ֣ע (Evil) / מֵרָ֣ע ( from evil) / מֵ (this is a Mem, as one of the Hebrew Alephbet). The Mem stands for, “From”. In the fallen state, we will use the Mem as, “Out of/ out from”.
So the separation/distancing “out from” or “away from” evil.
Okay, above I used the term “Broken”. The word Evil means “Breaker”. What is broken? Our relationship with YAHWEH! A broken relationship with the ONE that Created you is “Evil”.
Remember it is either the Creator or your fallen state. The word “Transgression” means walk ” out from” the relationship of the Creator, YAHWEH.
Adam had a choice, to stay with YAH or to walk “out from” his covering (this being YAHWEH). Adam did not pay constant attention to YAH because Eve never would have been approched by the serpent.
Genesis 2.15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
This word שָׁמַר (Keep) means to “Guard”. How do you keep something? By guarding it!
Adam did not guard the garden! This was the beginning of what became “Broken”. Not following YAHWEH’S word leads to “Brokenness”!
בִּינָֽה Understanding. This word, Understand means “to penetrate to the core”. Once you understand something, you become one with it. Understanding is also for “discernment”. In order to Discern, absorbing knowledge brings us into understanding. The only knowledge we EVER were to absorb is Wisdom, because YHWH is wisdom!
So, this is the Hebraic principle of the breakdown of the meaning of this verse. Sure there is even a deeper meaning but let’s start off slow. Learning the correct difinitions and terms are important before we can go into the depth (mysteries) of Scripture.
Deuteronomy 4.2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of the LORD our GOD which I command you.
Deuteronomy 4.6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your WISDOM and your UNDERSTANDING in the sight of the nations,
Our Wisdom and Understanding is to preserve YHWH’s intentions from the fallen state of mankind.
Remember the WHOLE DUTY of mankind,
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Constant attention to YHWH! By doing so, we WILL “Guard” HIS COMMANDMENTS!

REVELATIONS 24 SITTING ELDERS
Revelations 24 Sitting Elders
Revelations 4.4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
I like the meaning of this verse. It has so much depth to it.
This verse is a future event that John was allowed to see.
Revelations 4.1After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
‘ Come up hither, and I (YHWH) will thee things WHICH MUST BE HEREAFTER (Future Event). ‘
So this event actually hasn’t happened yet because we all should know ( from reading some of the other posts on this page ) that The Whole House of Israel are still scattered. YHWH hasn’t brought Israel together as of yet, but soon!
Some have asked, “Whom are the 24 sitting Elders?” Great question. Some may already know the answer but many may not understand the depth of the question. Instead of answering this question as naturally as many think (Greek) we will journey through the Hebrew way of thinking. In order to answer though the Hebrew mindset, we have to start with the purpose of Israel. It will all tie together a STRONG point!
The purpose of The Whole House of Israel is for ” HEALING “.
Revelations 22.2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
All Nations must come through Israel to be healed from the fall of mankind.
John 4.22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
You worship you know not what: we know what we worship, ( because ) Salvation IS OF THE HEBREWS ( Israel ). YHWH saved Israel ( Shem ) in return through Israel YAH will save the Nations ( Japheth and Ham ). Salvation is the HEALING of the Spiritual, Physical and mental state of mankind.
Now back to the question.
After being set free from Egypt, physically although not mentally, Israel was set to be the avenue that YHWH would use to rescue the world. Stephen said the Church was in the wilderness.
Acts 7.38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:
YHWH’s plan of Salvation first went through the wilderness. Just as the Messiah first went through the wilderness before His ministry. In the wilderness came out the vision of today’s group of what is called the 24 sitting Elders of Revelations 4.4.
The beauty that YHWH has done and is doing today is amazing. The revelation to the 24 sitting Elders going back to the wilderness dealing with Joshua and Caleb.
Numbers 13.6 Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
Numbers 13.8 Of the tribe of Ephraim, Oshea the son of Nun.
Judah produced Caleb, while Ephraim produced Joshua.
Look now what YHWH says about these two that gave the good report of spying out Canaan.
Ezekiel 37.15 The word of the LORD came again unto me,
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
Judah and Ephraim coming together. What is so interesting each one, Caleb represents the 12 Heads of Israel, while Joshua represents the 12 Apostles. This is your 24 Sitting Elders! 12 under Moses, 12 under the Messiah.
Isaiah 11.13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
The above verse is the fulfillment of
Ephesians 2.14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Judah and Ephraim will come together as the (whole) 12, to sit with the 12 Apostles already together!
***Side note: To understand Israel and Ephraim is sometimes confusing. Actually Israel is known as Ephraim, after the separation. Israel is known as Ephraim because in Egypt Jacob adopted Joseph’s two son’s Manasseh and Ephraim. Jacob gave his birthright to Ephraim.
There is more to this point. One person represented 12. Moses and Yeshua, Saul ( division of kingdom ) and David ( United the kingdom ), David and Yeshua.
Jacob had twelve son’s and Ishmael had twelve son’s, both of them has started the main government ( 12 in Hebrew means Government) of Religion ( if you will allow me to say that ), Judaism and Islam. Christianity, bring the third part of the main religions, but Christianity was birthed from Judaism. Actually, Judaism is the birth place of all religions.

400 vs 430 THEY SHALL AFFLICT THEM FOUR HUNDRED YEARS (PT1)
400 vs 430 All dealing with Israel being in bondage. Do we even know the difference?
Genesis 15.13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; (Gen 15:13 KJV)
Exodus
40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. (Exo 12:40 KJV)
Many people think that the Israelites where in bondage in Egypt for 400 years. This cannot be true! As you see above the Bible says that they dwelt in Egypt for 430 years! I can give up a breakdown on this time period.
Genesis 45.16 And the fame thereof was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, Joseph’s brethren are come: and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.
17 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Say unto thy brethren, This do ye; lade your beasts, and go, get you unto the land of Canaan;
18 And take your father and your households, and come unto me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat the fat of the land.
19 Now thou art commanded, this do ye; take you wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.
20 Also regard not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Egypt is yours. (Gen 45:16-20 KJV)
Time Period (About) 1677 B.C. Jacob (Israel) enters Egypt
Genesis 46.2 And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.

Ok, let us look at Joseph’s timeline:

17 years of age
Genesis 37.2 These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.
3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours (Gen 37:2-3 KJV)
37.36 And the Midianites sold him into Egypt unto Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh’s, and captain of the guard. (Gen 37:36 KJV)
1686 B.C.
( Joseph Translate Pharoahs dream when he was 30 years of age. The same as the Messiah when He started His ministry. )
Genesis 41.39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:
40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

1606 B.C.
( Joseph dies at 110 years of age )
Genesis 50.22 And Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he, and his father’s house: and Joseph lived an hundred and ten years. (Gen 50:22 KJV)
50.26 So Joseph died, being an hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt. (Gen 50:26 KJV)
Now from the 430 years that the Israelites were in Egypt, Joseph was second in Command to Pharoah from 1686 to his death of 1606. We are looking at somewhere about 80 years that Joseph was in leadership role in Egypt. So from 1660 B.C.to 1606 B.C.Israel still has FREEDOM in Egypt under Joseph.
So from Jacob entering Egypt at 1660 B.C. to the death of Joseph at 1606 B.C., is about 54 years of FREEDOM under Joseph. 430 years minus FREEDOM of 54 years leaves about 376 years of bondage. BUT this is not the end of the FREEDOM period.
Let us continue:
1580 B.C.
( Joseph AND ALL that “original” generation has died )
Exodus 1.6 And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.
7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.
8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph (Exo 1:6-8 KJV)
Israelites were not in bondage until Joseph and that generation has died out. NOW is the time of bondage!
1542 B.C.
11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.
12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.
13 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:
14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour. (Exo 1:11-14 KJV)
Now let us find out this Time Period (around)
From the time Israel entered Egypt at 1660 B.C. to now the “end” of Joseph’s generation (By the way, one of Joseph’s brother lived in Egypt almost 100 years before he died. 430 minus 100 equals 330) at 1580 B.C.
Bondage of slavery started about 1542 B.C. to about 1462 B.C.
This is actually April 15th 1462 B.C.
Exodus 12.30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as you have said.
32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.
33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men (Exo 12:30-33 KJV)
Now as we go back and look at the time of the beginning of ” Bondage,” we will see that Israel was in slavery for only 80 years! Remember what YAH told Abram, Genesis 15.13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; (Gen 15:13 KJV) Israel was never “Afflicted” for even 100 years!
In 1542 B.C. ‘ they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens.’
In 1462 B.C. ‘ And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as you have said.’
These are the two major dates for the “Affliction.” Which equals 80 years! Actually the 430 years are from 1892 B.C to 1462 B.C. Genesis 12.4 is April 1892 B.C.
Genesis 12.4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran (Gen 12:4 KJV)
1882 B.C.

1892 B.C. to 1677 B.C. 215 years Israel’s Sojourning in Canaan
1677 B.C to 1462 B.C 215 years Sojourning in Egypt
1542 B.C. to 1462 B.C years of Slavery
So this is the breakdown of this 430 years. But the question still remains, what about the 400 years of bondage?

“MY PEOPLE”
YAH’s People is and ALWAYS be Israel. The Messiah confirmed this by obeying the Command of the FATHER….
Matthew 10.6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. (Mat 10:6-8 KJV)
Verse 8 is actually the heart of what I want to deal with. But first let’s finish 2 Chronicles. Back to “MY People”.
“MY People” being Israel, the 12 Son’s of Jacob (Israel), was chosen by YAH while the first promise was given to Abraham.
Genesis 12.2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: (Gen 12:2 KJV) All of YAH’s blessings were for Israel. Sure all souls are HIS but Israel are the chosen people.
“MY NAME”
YAHWEH (YHWH) is HIS name. Only Israel knew this. Not even Abraham, Isaac and Jacob didnt even know of this name…
Exodus 6.3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. (Exo 6:3 KJV)
Pslams 68.4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. (Psa 68:4 KJV)
This word “JAH” is actually “YAH” there are not any “J” in Hebrew. They substituted the “J” for the “Y”.
The name “JEHOVAH” is actually the word, “YAHWEH”. This is where YHVH as written in “YOD HEI VAV HEI”. Europians changed the “VAV” from the “WOW”. This is history!
Israel are the only one’s that had “EYES” to see the Glory YHWH, and “EARS” to hear the Instructions of YHWH.
Isaiah 43.8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. (Isa 43:8 KJV)
The rest of the people of the world neither had eyes or ears towards YHWH. It is still this way today!
“SHALL HUMBLE THEMSELVES, AND PRAY, AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS”
Now remember the world was already wicked. The one’s that had to turn, are the one’s that was with YAH in the beginning. This is none other but Israel!
Remember Israel are the only Nation of People that had “EYES and EARS”,
Now, what people doesnt seem to understand.
Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. (Exo 15:26 KJV)
This promise was given to Israel not any other Nation! In this and in EVERY promise that YHWH gave to Israel, there was stipulations BEFORE the promise. In verse above, Israel (no other nation was this told too) had to:
1. “KEEP YHWH’s COMMANDMENTS
2. “KEEP ALL THE STATUTES”
3. “DO WHAT IS RIGHT IN YHWH’s SITE”
If Israel doesnt KEEP these 3 Commands, Israel WILL BE DISEASED! Hence we have the above verse 2 Chronicles 7.14.
Deuteronomy 4:1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.
2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. (Deu 4:1-2 KJV)
Here is the issue to this day!

Deuteronomy 6:1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it: (Deu 6:1 KJV)
Deuteronomy 8:1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.
2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. (Deu 8:1-2 KJV)
If Israel would again…KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS, KEEP THE STATUTES, JUDGMENTS, just to recieve the promise of YHWH. This words are continually mentioned ALL over the scriptures. Seems to me, it must be of the UTMOST IMPORTANCE!
Now for today’s thought.
It is believed and said that we are “Gentiles”. What is funny to me is the fact that people uses these words without understanding but will claim it. The word “Gentile” is a translated word from the word “GOYIM” meaning Nations. So saying your a Gentile, means that you are not of the seed of Abraham. This is a mini series that I am writing in another post.
It is believed that by being “saved” we also recieve the promises that was given to Israel (being a “Gentile”).
MAJOR PROBLEM! If the promise was given to Israel and they didnt recieve the promise (as of yet), how is it that the (so called) Gentile can get that which Israel never recieved?

We should already know that the so called Jews were Hebrews of the 12 Tribes. The promise of the salvation hasnt been fulfilled in the Hebrews yet, so how can anyone else get it? Hebrew first…Salvation of the Hebrews!
Here is the point:
If you are going to adopt (being grafted) me into your family. On Sunday’s your family has a family meal but I dont agree with this weekly gathering, so I ask that we pass this weekend. I dont believe the adopting family will change their family meal because Im now becoming part of the family. If Im going to be adopted (grafted) in, I must abide by my adopting family rules.
This is happening right before our eyes this day. Israel is the focal point of the promises but the Churches are wanting to step into the promises by their own rules! Churches feel they have the right to bypass the “STIPULATIONS” that YHWH, HIMSELF set in place.
If we truly read scripture correctly, we would understand that there should be a people that sickness and disease does not affect. Especially if the Messiah bore sickness and infirmity on the stake.

If sin cannot jump off the stake, then how does sickness and infirmity come off?

In order for mankind (Gentiles) of any Nation to recieve the promise to Israel, we must follow the “COMMANDS” from YHWH that was given to them. Israel is the adoption of ALL Nations. It is through saving of Israel that the world will be saved!
